What to have ready
Tell us the pickup and drop off areas, roughly how big the home or office is, your ideal date, and anything unusual such as a piano, an acreage driveway, or a load headed out of province.
Say so up front if you already know you want packing help. If you have not decided, we can walk through what each option covers on the same call.
How the estimate gets built
For local moves we estimate the crew size and hours from your inventory and the access at both ends. For long-distance moves the figure is based on estimated weight and the distance travelled.
Acreage and rural moves usually need a couple of extra questions about the driveway and any outbuildings, and photos ahead of time help us give a closer number before the crew ever drives out.
Larger homes and all commercial jobs get a proper walk through, either in person or on a video call where you carry a phone from room to room.
When to reach out
For a move at the end of the month or during summer, reach out three to four weeks ahead. Mid month dates in spring or fall can often be booked with a week or two of notice.
If another crew cancelled on you and you are stuck, call anyway. Openings come up more often than most people assume, especially on weekdays.
After you book
You get a confirmation with the crew size, arrival window, and a short checklist for the days before. A day or two out, we call to confirm details and answer any last questions before the truck shows up.
Serving the wider region
Most of what we do is inside Sherwood Park, Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, and Leduc, with regular long-distance runs out to Calgary, Red Deer, and Fort McMurray. If your move sits somewhere between those, ask and we will tell you honestly whether it fits our territory.
We are also happy to talk through a move that starts or ends outside that footprint entirely, since some long-distance jobs are simply a matter of which crew has a truck free on the right date.
